Abstract:
Digital transformation is the process of leveraging technology to fundamentally change
the way an organization operates, delivers value to customers, and achieves its goals.
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, digital transformation has become
increasingly important for businesses of all sizes and industries. This dissertation
Provides an overview of digital transformation activities, globally, and in the Arab
world in general, based on internationally recognized indicators. The classification of
some countries in the world has been shown, as well as the rankings of advanced Arab
countries in the field of digitalization. It also reviews the state of digital development
in Egypt in particular, based on several indicators, including digital evolution index,
Arabic Digital Transformation index and network readiness. The objective of the study
is to explore the obstacles that impede the digital transformation process within
organizations, despite the measures taken to modernize and the reliance on technology.
The increasing need for organizations to embrace digitalization has prompted many to
initiate a range of technological advancements. However, despite these steps, many
organizations still face challenges in achieving successful digital transformation. The
study identified and analyzed these challenges within the organizations through an
assessment model of the level of adoption the digital transformation. By examining
these challenges and the results of the assessment, the study provides a framework and
implementation plan that can be utilized to overcome them and facilitate the adoption
of digital technologies. Ultimately, the goal of this research work is to help
organizations achieve their digital transformation objectives more efficiently and
effectively. |
